Choose your favorite hospitality venue (hotel, restaurant, resort, tourist attraction, etc.) and imagine you are the marketing manager for this site. Completing a SWOT analysis for your site as well as your competitor\’s site will help you to understand your competitive advantage, provide valuable insights, and identify what your site can do to plan for the threats so you can implement the opportunity which is critical in managing your marketing plan.
Once you have completed both SWOT analyses (yours and your competitor\’s) answer the following questions:

How does your SWOT analysis of your site compare and contrast to your competitor\’s SWOT analysis?
Does the information gathered from your competitorâ€™s SWOT analysis change your thoughts on your threats and opportunities?
Note: Post topic questions and answers directly in the discussion board and submit both of the SWOT analyses as a PDF attachment to the discussion board.

Discussion Board Requirements:

Initial posting is due Friday. Responses are due Monday.
A minimum of 300 words for initial post.
Respond to at least two postings with a minimum of 125 words each. Your responses should draw out additional information or ideas, encourage or coach, or add content to the discussion. Ideally, you should also return to your own posting and respond to those who have responded to you. In order to ensure that all members of the class are engaged, please choose to respond to those who have no responses first.
