Create a mind map of how you think the innovators may have arrived at their solution

Identify the problem they were trying to solve as your center. (Hint in the chic&basic case, moving away from traditional offerings of hotels is not the main problem the innovators set out to solve).
Include relevant topics based on the Execution and Outcomes sections of the case study.
For example: In the chic&basic case study, since they were trying to avoid what they saw as predetermined bad habits in the industry, identify Predetermined Bad Habits as a primary branch, with bad habits as sub-branches. Likewise, include Employees as a primary branch as these are identified in the case study.

Somewhat similar to Discussion Board 3.1, there are no wrong answers for the branches you identify. The goal of this assignment is to allow yourself to be creative and not confined by conventional solutions.

You will be graded on the following:

The number of branches and ideas solutions you identify from the case study;
The creativity of other solutions you might identify;
Your ability to identify the pieces of what may been included in the innovators mind maps if they had used this tool; and
The summary of your thoughts about the problem and exercise.

3-5 page, double-spaced paper (body)
12-point font, Times New Roman
Include all elements that are presented in the cast study as a branch (primary or sub)
Include your own ideas that may have been considered, but were not identified by the innovators.
Include creative, bold, and unconventional ideas of other ways the goal may have been met.
Include a summary of your final solution(s) and your thoughts as you worked on this exercise.
