Teams often create mission statements that, in general terms, define their purpose and values. A mission statement articulates a team’s values, but does not say how the team’s purpose will be fulfilled. (Levi, 2017, p. 50)

1. Create a team mission statement for a team you belong to or one with which you are familiar.
